Abstract: This PowerPoint presentation will present a host of factors to be considered when preparing to teach a foreign language entirely online. We will address technological prerequisites for the class, the syllabus, textbook selection criteria, teaching/learning modules, web-based workbook/lab manual evaluation criteria, communication tools between instructor and students as well as between students, learning outcomes for all four skills and various ways to assess them in an online format.
