Zenon Obydzinski
Defense Language Institute
Zenon Obydzinski, Associate Professor at Defense
Language Institute, has a Master’s Degree in Philosophy and Science
from the Lublin University, Poland and Master's Degree in Teaching of
Foreign Languages from Monterey Institute of International Studies, Monterey,
CA. He taught Polish and developed numerous learning materials for teaching
Polish at DLI. In 1995, he joined the DLI’s Educational Technology
Branch where he works as a Project Manager. He developed computer-based
courseware for Spanish, Serbian/Croatian, and Korean. He also built several
tools for Toolbook® authoring system. Currently he is working on development
of the computer-assisted component of the new Persian Farsi Basic Course.
His professional interests include language-teaching methodology and development
of Internet browser-based templates for building language-learning activities.
