Abstract
Recent popularity of internet and multilingual capability on the latest operating systems is increasing the possibility of implementing on-line materials to foreign language classroom. "Cyber Map Exercise" is a site designed for use in classroom instruction with supervision and instruction of an instructor in mind. It fits into a theme of existence and builds up language skills from presentation to practice stage. This site was used in Beginning Japanese and Intermediate Japanese at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Students' reactions are effectiveness of using a Web site as an instructional material studied.

Proposed Target Language : All

Method of Presentation/Planned Activity:
If there is a live internet connection with Overhead projector, that will be super. So far I don't have a laptop I can bring, so I have to ask the conference to provide the computer and all equipment. The first part, development part will introduce how the site was developed with references for easy development for similar materials. The implementation part will be delivered as paper presentation. Question and answer time will be allocated.

Anticipated Benefit to Participants:
For teachers and materials developers, this presentation will present resources to create on-line materials and provide insights to the advantage and disadvantage of such a material.
