Urioste Gathering
Donaldo and Laura Urioste hosted the first 'event' of the new CSUMB College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at their home, May 5, 2002. Many thanks to them for their gracious hospitality and chance for new colleagues to meet.

The IWLC hosts an annual conference on the integration of language learning and technology This year's event is scheduled for March 21-23, 2002. Registration fees are waived for the CSUMB campus community. Last year 250 people attended over 40 presentations from 15 states attending the 3-day event. Yoshiko Saito-Abbott is the conference chair. ysa@csumb.edu
This event is enhanced by a technology exposition supported by many companies, such as Apple, Compaq, Adobe, Macromedia, etc. and attended by a wide variety of tri-county educators from K-12 and post-secondary institutions. Troy Challenger is the host to this event.
