'Ikiru' is one of the most important work of Kurosawa's human drama. I can understand well his humanism through this film. In India, 'Ikiru' is remade any number of times. But, it's difficult to see these because these are made without permission. 'Ikiru' is a memorial film for me because it's my first Kurosawa movie and only one movie that I watch in tears.
